The High Performance Department would like to announce 2015 Victorian Elite Squad which will commence as of March, 2015.  The aim of the Victorian Elite squad is to fast track the development of athletes into the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) & Golf Australia National Squad program.  The squad also assists VIS first year scholarship holders* with competition opportunities only.

In the past 3 years, Victorian Elite Squad members were involved in 16 National selection event victories.  Squad members are offered a $4,000 scholarship which is spent primarily on travel to compete in State and National ranking events with the remainder into service provision such as Physiotherapy, Strength & Conditioning, Sports Psychology and other relevant services for player development.  The Elite Squad will also attend a number of two-day camps over the next 12 months which will combine a series of specialized workshops and assessment to further assist in the development of each athlete.

The Elite Squad can be added to throughout the year and will take into account an athlete’s potential combined with the individual results in local, state and national events.
