Very few rounds played so no change there. Did go out by myself at Robina Woods and score was woeful and quickly forgotten. Basically too many pushes and hooks with driver. I was too confident with it.
But have been doing a couple of hours or more range ratting each week. In the past few weeks I have
Done a round of 18 holes putting. I put some Texas shots in there too. Have reduced from an average of 4 or so over to 1 over last 2 times
Bunkers. Have got better at distance control working on a half swing 10-20m shot and a fuller swing 30-40 m shot.
Tried to become friends with my 58 deg. On shots from 20-50 m. Getting better.
Worked out my wedge distances with the 9i to 52deg working on a short shot (club parallel to ground at back swing) and longer (arms parallel to ground). This seems to work well for me nd gives enough options at the moment.
Continued to practice long clubs. Esp 3 wood recently as Robina woods taught me I need a consistent tee shot.
