What do Aryan Roopa Anand, Arjun Prasanna, Raunav Sharma and Anish Narendra Sastry have in common besides being talented 13-year-old golfers who finished in the top five of the boys ‘B’ category South Zone golf Feeder Tour leaderboard?

All four are student or dependent members at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA). And it is not just these four youngsters who have lorded over the 10-event South Zone golf tour that travels across Coorg, Chikkamagaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Ooty, Chennai and Bengaluru.

Vrshank Baluu and Nandan Rao finished in the top five in the Boys A category, while Ishvari Prasanna and Shriya Vivek did likewise in the girls section; Neeraj Shetty, Ruhaan Bajaj, Krishang Nayak, Ananjan Kaushik, Prakruthi Narendra Sastry, Anushka Borkar, Jasmine Sachdeva, Durga N V…..in the various age categories are all utilising the world class KGA golf course and its practice facilities, including the dedicated driving range to hone their skills and prove a point or two to those who still think golf is a senior citizens’ game, or worse, their leisure.
