PROFESSIONAL golf player Steve Hughes is hoping to use his sport to keep kids off their iPads and exercising.

Hughes has been teaching Tri-Golf to primary school children in the area, including pupils at Albert Village Primary.

Tri-Golf is a mini version of golf for primary schools and younger children which involves the use of adapted equipment and a variety of games designed to provide an enjoyable introduction to the sport.
