Blind golfer to compete in Ladies pro-am in bid to reach 2016 World Championships

BLIND golfer Glenn Niciejewski will take on some of the best golfers Australia has ever produced in a bid to reach the 2016 World Championships.

The Loganlea resident will play in a Pro-Am event at Royal Pines with former world No. 1 players Karrie Webb and Yani Tseng on February 11 as he prepares for the coming year on the Blind Golf Australia circuit.

Niciejewski garnered the opportunity through coach and former ladies circuit player Lee Harrington who has helped the golfer fine tune his skills in recent times.

“I met Lee through a lesson I had at Palm Meadows and she has been awesome ever since,” Niciejewski said.
