The PGA has touted many programs over the past few years to bring new revenue and new golfers to the game. But none has shown as much promise as the introduction of FootGolf, a soccer and golf hybrid, to courses all across the U.S. It appears to be accomplishing both goals of bringing new revenue and a new demographic to the golf course. Other programs to grow the game include initiatives to offer shorter rounds of golf and relaxing the rules of traditional golf.
