I’m just like you — I loathe paying a big chunk of money for four hours worth of golf that I’m likely not going to enjoy regardless of my score. Oh, I’ll delight in the company of my friends, but not in regards to hitting the little white pill.

But it could be worse.

That’s because, when it comes to greens fees, Americans actually get off pretty easy. In their review of The Forbidden Game, a book about golf in China, Golf Digest picked up this little nugget.
