The BirdieBall Shootout is back

BirieBall

The BirdieBall Shootout is back – bigger and better than ever before.  With over $2000 in cash prizes and a new home on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin, this revolutionary event will put golf centre stage at one of Australia’s most iconic locations on November 22, 2015.
Played using the world’s leading limited flight golf ball, the BirdieBall Shootout is a variation of golf’s traditional nearest-the-pin competition with some BIG differences. The hole is only 35 metres long. The target is 10 metres wide.
Anyone can play and members of the public are encouraged to participate on the day. With no dress codes or private club rules, this is golf for everyone.
The BirdieBall Shootout provides a unique opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to engage with golf in a fun and friendly environment and is made possible thanks to our supporters BirdieBall Australia, Drummond Golf, GymQuip Fitness, ACT Tourism, and the National Capital Authority.
What is it? Fast and fun.

The BirdieBall Shootout is a revolutionary golf competition using the world’s leading limited flight golf ball – the BirdieBall. It’s like golf’s traditional nearest the pin competition with some BIG differences. The hole is only 35 metres long. The target is 10 metres wide.

Prizes? You bet.

First place wins a whopping $800 … second place $200 … semi final eliminations each get $50 … and the first player to get a hole-in-one during qualifying scores $1000. It’s your choice how you take your prize – gift vouchers or CASH.

Who can play? Anyone.

Men, women, kids. Pro golfers and amateurs. But you don’t need to be a golfer or even bring any equipment – we supply it all. With no dress codes or country club attitudes, this is golf for everyone.

Are you ready? Get to it.

Book your ticket today and rock up between 10 and 3 on the day to hit your four shots at the target. The closer your shots the higher your score and the best 16 scores qualify for the head-to-head knockout final at 3pm. But be early – anyone still in the queue at 3pm misses out.

Follow the top scores live on your mobile phone so if you get bumped out of the top 16 during the day, you can return and requalify in time for the knockout final.

Details, details, details.

Free, all-day car parking is available off Wendouree Drive on the north side of Parkes Way. From there it’s a 1 minute walk to the event.
