Cool. Sorry my typo. Have both Yarrawonga courses reserved though Sunday we may not have carts. Am looking at options for that.

I agree on making it 54 hole event if we get enough playing al three days We can’t get Saturday at Yarrawonga and Sunday currently we may not get carts What’s better Cobram or tocumwal for Sunday? Also accomodation is a little tricky at moment as it’s a peak season for them usually in March.

    suggestions
    1) Why not make the event a 54 hole tournament = Friday /Sat /Sunday
    2) if playing 36 hole event play same venue ie lake course and murray course sat / sunday
stay on site, dinner at same venue simple
same if play tocumwal presidents course and captains course, stay on course dinner at same venue

Yarrawonga is an easy walking course, so some of field might prefer the walk, by the time this event comes around we MIGHT just be out of our cages and all or most of us will only have walked 1hour per day and not more than 5km.

We still have a few players that will need carts regardless.

Yep.. Not because I don’t like to walk, I just can’t. A little thing called ‘Artheriosclerosis’. I don’t wish it upon any of you.

I’m currently under doctors orders that I can play when we open up but not walk a full 18 holes after having stents put in my heart
So until that changes I will need a cart

    ANNOUNCEMENT:

Update made to venues as they couldn’t secure carts for Sunday, as well accommodation options are tricky in that area and pricey from my first searches.

This is an optional event for the year and does not replace the normal Nationals in Oct which is rescheduled for Hunter Valley again. Either way, it would be good to get away for a little hit with everyone. I’ve only booked 24 pax currently – first in best dressed. (The committee makes the final call;)

So many variables to fall into place to have this happen – so we will play it as it lies.

Let me know if anyone wants to play Howlong GC on Thursday afternoon? – it’s then an hour to Cobram Barooga.

Let me know what days you may be able to make it – Ill sort out the fee schedule next week as a few variables to factor in.
(Payment deadline will be by early Jan – first in best dressed- fully refundable as well)

Love it… Leave home at 5, hit Howlong around midday, 1pm tee time then into Cobrum by 6pm and festivity time for the next 3 days. Maybe Corowa or Gundagai on the way home.
