ParticipantGlorious golfing weather all week and this weekend here in Gippsland.
Sydneysiders have been promised a torrential dumping this weekend, down from SEQ. I hope all you critics of Melb weather remain safe and dry while we play golf.Enjoy Obe, naturally I’m sure your scores will reflect the wonderful weather you’re having.
Thanks Bumpy. Sat is just a 4BBB, but Sunday is a pennant match so I hope I get my brain working.

Interesting, the rain seems to have found a way to split and head in 2 directions. Nth Coast has been copping what SEQ got last week and we are in for a hammering tomorrow (supposedly) yet the rain is apparently heading nth as well. Bloody Weather.

ParticipantWe’re only a week into winter and I’m over it already.
Pissing down outside. It’s supposed to get to 13°, but at midday it has only just crawled up to 7°.
Too wet for golf yesterday. 90% chance of it being too wet for golf tomorrow. The only saving grace is that, as the dates tick on over, my cap point is increasing. Provided I can put in another handicapped round so it reads my new cap point for the following round. I’m sick of being hard capped. Yeah I know, it’s only a stroke or two.

only just charged our phones.June 12, 2021 at 1:12 pm #16960OldBogey
ParticipantI lost power a couple of times here, but internet was ok when power re-established.
Until 1:00 friday when the NBN died but power was ok.
NBN won’t do any fixing untill all power is fixed everywhere, then they’ll look at what’s still not working.

ParticipantLock down finished ( for now) in Victoria and the golf course is open. Sydney is learning all about how it feels now, I guess.
I spent today visiting the Chiropractor and generally feeling sorry for myself. I pulled some back muscles while replacing fascia boards on my daughter’s house, plus I managed to bruise my nuts when moving from one roof level to another. Ouch. I didn’t quite clear the raised flashing edge. Oh wel,l the Olympics were on the Television and drugs, dry needling, back adjustments, low level laser seem to have worked. I finished watching Z Nation on Net Flix.(it gets a B+ from me)
My yard is flooded and still more heavy rain is coming. I might get out to the course for a look tomorrow, but I think it will be too wet to play.

ParticipantBack 9 at Portland is closed, so they are playing the front 9 twice. No carts for social golf until further notice. Water puddles abound.

Participantplayed at the new home of golf today in lovely weather. Course got some rain yesterday morning, but today the course was dry, greens a little soft, as some indents, but easily fixed, but overall the course still played well, so a big field on Saturday might chop it up a bit. carts allowed.
