ParticipantStab at Warra yesterday.
Front nine was ok, included a wipe but still 17 points.
Back was less than ok, two wipes, 13 points.
Only six 1-putts, but also two 3-putts. At least the greens had been mown but were still shaggy, lumpy and dead slow.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.

ParticipantPlayed Stab at Beaufort on Saturday. First game since the WGC handicap system so off 10. Strange game of golf played pretty good solid golf on the front 9 for 17 points and then really struggled on the back 9 and ended up with 19 points for a 36 point total. The back nine really felt like I was just holding on so surprised to get 19 points.

ParticipantNot played, yet, but just wanted to find this thread in anticipation. Have a group booked in for the back marker at the home track on Friday. Hoping the rain doesn’t make it too wet under foot, or stays around until then, because like a witch, I don’t cope well with getting wet (on a golf course).
Undecided if I should clean the clubs and sort out the golf bag just yet. Might wait until after another couple of practice sessions.

ParticipantWollongong GC Saturday comp a few days ago. Played very well except for two holes. Shot 77 for 37 points. Two horrible doubles, both of them chip three putt ruined what would have been an excellent round.
Hating holes 6 and 18 a little less now after having been a member for about six months. I’ve figured out how to play them finally and it has made a big difference in average scoring for those holes.
