ParticipantAnd how’d common sense go last time?
Sad, but true.
Even out in the sticks in Victoria, the “one rule covers all” approach means our practice areas are closed. A simple,”one person for 20 minutes” sign would suit our situation, but common sense didn’t prevail.

ParticipantAnother stab at Warra ‘for handicap only’.
Played crap, something like 27 points. All flags move south a notch.By the way, it was fabulous golf weather, I really have no excuse.
Enjoy the game.
even if we move from cell 4 to cell 3 it may mean golf in 2’s.
lets hope Golf Australia are talking to Dan and his ministers and pushing for golfers to get out again
hope common sense prevails this time. And get rid of those rotten masks while out on the course, subject to maintaining distancing, maybe play in threes and allow comps. The current golf restrictions are just mean bullying that serves no useful purpose.

When it comes to politicians, none of their senses are common.

ParticipantStab at Warra (what else could it be?).
10/14 for 24 points. A few 3-pointers, but who cares?
These rounds are a good opportunity to experiment with my swing, not that I seem to achieve much. I had some really good distances, but that was probably the brisk tail wind. I don’t seem to have much conviction with my game, I’m just out there for a whack and don’t care much about the score.I think I knock a flagged round out of my handicap list but I won’t go out by more than .1

ParticipantStab at Warra. The crap continues 12×13=25.
I think I only had one 3-pointer. Putts just wouldn’t drop – three 3-putts.

ParticipantSLGC, Stroke, First round of Club Champ’s.
Wrist still giving me problems, Handicap out 4 strokes, My last 20 rounds all up against my Cap. Played off 23.
Reviewing a grip video during the week I realized I had let me grip slip a bit, made an effort to straighten up, it worked!
Pared the first two holes and apart from two bad holes (6 on a par 3 & 8 on a par 5) couldn’t do much wrong.
Drives were mostly off-center hits, on the clubface but still mostly OK. Chips were mostly long..
Came in with a score of 66 to be placed second overall

ParticipantStab at Warra, again.
It’s as though someone flicked a switch. Approach shots mostly worked better, chips onto greens were better length, only one 3-putt, a handful of 1-putts. All that meant one birdie, two pars, no wipes and a 35 point total.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

KeymasterRedcliffe off the blues today and a shotgun start. 37pts which I was very happy with considering I stuffed by back on Fathers Day.
Played off six. First nine holes made everything for par. Something like 6 one puttS?
Only one birdie
Slow deteriorating of game on last 5 holes. And a three putt. Should move my cap a bit

ParticipantStab at Warra again.
Everything felt a bit uncoordinated to start with. First two holes were ok but stuffed the third with a badly topped drive into the creek for a wipe. Made a mess of the 9th after a good drive. Turned on 13 points.
Back nine was better with 17 points.
30 point total which replaces a 36 point flag.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
