I have been drinking my way through this afternoon and realised, I am not very good at golf.

    Stab at Trafalgar today.

An God awful front nine with a heap of wipes, driver was good but nothing else. 8 points

Back nine was better with six 1-putts but also a 3-putt. Far more consistent. 17 points

    Total of 25 points.

Monthly medal and club champs tomorrow. I’d better get my act together, even though I am taking up the spot of someone who wants to play well I will play anyway.
Maybe being as hungover as I expect to be will mean I play better

    Guess who’s back, back again!!
    Bump is back

I organised a networking game with some of the punters at work. Two groups of three dropped to a group of five when one bloke went down with heat stroke half way around.

I had a 73, really happy with how I was hitting it considering 29 July was the last time I picked up the clubs.
My short game touch wasn’t there, plenty of missed putts and a couple of duffed chips or just bashing the chip well past on the slow greens, but I’m not too worried as I fully expected that. I was pleased that I was able to play with my boss and hopefully impressed him a bit.

I do love Ink’s head, it felt really nice and rewarding.

Now on to one of my favourite courses in Glades Sunday week with Rusty Old Man, then my favourite course with my favourite (non-Dad) group at RQ.

73 net is a pretty good score after that little break, for you.

Bloody great, IMHO….considering he probably plays off 6 and not 16.

After feeling very dusty from drinking as much as I did, I obviously drove to the course anyway. Round 2 (actually became rnd 1 when the original rnd 1 was cancelled last week due to very inclement weather) of clubbies today. Top 8 in each grade goes into playoffs. It was also MM.

I was a mile down the list for medal when I looked, but it seems I’m into the C grade playoffs with a 94 gross (nett 75).
It does make it a lot easier being against the choppers.
So, another round of golf tomorrow. Nearly every day. Also booked in for Mon and Tues.
Hopefully I’ll get a patch of good luck, I think I have earned it

    Thanks for your support #TeamFrank!
Fun fact for those who are playing along at home, that was off the stick so it didn’t matter what I was playing off.
And for Obe, playing alone at home, the course was as short and easy as Warra so it’s probably not as good a score as you gave me all that credit for.

Interesting that some peanut has transcribed my post from ISG and added his own ‘flavour’ to what I posted.
So, just be aware that the real OB is OldBogey, not the peanut calling himself Old Bogey.

I’d bet it’s Max but I have no proof, yet.

    Classic!!
There’s a fake Obe in the house everyone.

    Be on the lookout everyone.

And is bet it’s not Max, doing anything to do with you wouldn’t register a blip on his care factor at the moment, but you just keep on convincing yourself of your own importance in other people’s world.

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, but seriously what is the point of trying to be me on the internet.

You are a sad man, Max just give it up. It’s too obvious

I really don’t understand why anyone (Max or another) would even bother trying to copy me.

    A chalk and cheese round.
Abysmal front nine with 5 losses and only one win: -4 at the turn. I later check my stab equivalent score for that nine and came up with just 9 points. No wonder I was four down.
Back nine was a turnaround. I lost the 10th (beaten by a par) to go 5 down with 8 to go. Not looking good.
But then I had a string of pars and finished on the 18th with 2 up. Back nine stab equivalent was 23 points.
Semi final next Sat. against a young buck who reportedly can outdrive me by 100m. If he hits them straight, I’m gone.

Haha, well done Maxxy, it looks like you have got the real Obe blocked

    That’s brilliant, I can’t believe it worked.

$100 coming your way as per our bet.

You’ll have to book Ink pre-round to accommodate any head prior to our day at The Flats – just saying!

That one it did get seems to still be working.
I don’t want it to be something that I overdo..

I wonder if it’s any correlation that I have only really hit one or two bad drives in the last 3 months?!?
