ParticipantSo, I play a bit of golf.
I try to keep the reports brief, to avoid boredom.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantOldies’ 9-hole this morning.
Two 1-points, two 3-points for an 18 total.
At least the damp greens were back to slick normality instead of being like glass. But some pin placements were still teetering on the edge of sanity.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

KeymasterOk….I’ve stopped doing these when we moved over from the other side……but pretty happy about the last couple of games.
Victoria GC last Wednesday and a course I usually struggle at. (Don’t I Goldy?) Doubles matchplay against the reining champs. Managed to play ok for 32 points off 10 and we won our match 4 & 3.Yesterday at Cape Schanck and playing off 9 and playing against our scratch marker in the handicap matchplay. Managed to win 2 &1 with 35 points. (one wipe) A flagged round and handicap exacly 9.0

ParticipantStab at Warra today. Putting was waaaay off and I can’t blame overly quick greens (back to normal). 37 putts.
Accordingly, my score was a miserable 30 points.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantWas the back to normal in reference to the putting being waaaaay off or the overly slick greens?
The greens were back to normal, but my putting wasn’t.
On Saturday, only two players in 180 managed 36 points and another two had 35 points. The glassy greens made golf very difficult. I try to keep my putts down to around 30 but have found that difficult lately, particularly the past week. Yesterday was worse than usual and without an excuse.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantStab at Warra today. Perfect weather.
Front nine was good: 18 points with 16 putts. Two 1-points, two 3-points.
Then it all went to shit on the back nine. One wipe, five 1-points, two 3-putts.
Final result: 29 points, 33 putts.

ParticipantMM stroke & putting with Olinda G C @ Beacy today.
Nett 76 with 28 putts. Winner had net 74. I won the putting.
It all could have been a lot better, had I not shaved the hole 8 or 9 times. The rest of my game was not up to par with numerous poor shots mixed with some good saves. I had a 7 on a par3. Also had a 3-putt.
