Played at Pacific with Brisbane Fairways off 6.
    Had 28 points.
Sometimes it’s fun when you have no idea where the ball will go when you’re addressing it.
Had an absolute blast playing with Rusty Old Man as a Father’s Day gig.

Highlight was a temporary par 4, playing about 245. The green was tucked on the left hand side behind a series of big trees. One bloke tees off with his 3 wood and perfectly slings it around the trees to be about 20 short of the fringe.
I smashed my 3 wood, it started a touch right of the line I wanted and didn’t draw. It clattered into a huge tree, maybe 6m up and dropped back and right. Turns out that tree was pin high and if it didn’t hit the tree it was proper dead. Easy chip up and two putt par.

I did have a run of 5 pars on the second nine, but there is still doubles that come from not knowing where the ball will go.

    Good times.

You play golf like me, just 100m longer on most shots. ??‍♂️

Especially some greenside bunker shots …
But what an honour it is to be compared to you, for anything – be that for good or the really good.

Bunkers….at least you get out of them. They normally have to order more sand in after I’m finished. As for the honour of comparison in not knowing at ANY stage where I am going to hit the ball.. you are very easily pleased my friend.

How did I play today? Not very well at all. Just 24 points. Something like 38 putts. Dropped a few nice, long putts but also shaved the hole far too often.

People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

Stab at Warra today with no comp prizes.
I had a better round today than most of my recent attempts.
One wipe, three 1-points, five 3-points for a 36 point total.
Two 3-putts, eight 1-putts and a chip-in (it’s been quite a while since I’ve had one of those) for a 28 putt total.
My short game was so much better today than recently, with heaps of short putts after chipping close.

    Stab at Warra.
Front nine: although quite windy, it was otherwise pleasant enough but my score was shithouse. One wipe, four 1-points, 2s for the rest. 18 putts with only one 1-putt and a 3-putt. Just 12 points
Back nine: the weather deteriorated with passing squalls but my golf improved. No wipes, only one 1-point, four 3-points. That leaves four 2-points. Four 1-putts, nothing worse than 2 putts. That’s 14 putts, 21 points.
Totals: 32 putts, 33 points. Not a bad finish considering I had 6 more putts than points on the front and the weather was worse on the back.

Stab at Warra today in beautiful, sunny weather.
15 points out with 16 putts, 20 points back with 15 putts.
    Totals: 35 points, 31 putts.
Only one wipe for the day, four 1-points, five 3-points.
    Two 3-putts, seven 1-putts.

All that will cost me a stroke for my next round, dammit.

    Stab at Warra today.
When I played on Thurs, I jarred my left wrist. It was still a bit sore yesterday but I thought it was ok this morning. That was until I played my second shot today.
Starting on the 10th, my drive was ok but that was it. When I got to the green, four putts for a wipe. One point on 11. Rain started on 12, wrist was annoying, another wipe. Rain eased on 13 and was no more than threat thereafter. But with everything a bit wet and 5 strokes down after 3 holes, recovery was unlikely.
After nine holes, I had amassed nine points.
Second nine was better but only 13 points.
Total was 22 points. 34 putts wasn’t all that bad, particularly after that start.

cloudy day on the Island with patches of lovely Sunshine to help build my Vitamin D levels.
first game for over 4 weeks. Played today at Aussie Golf Ranch. A great 9 hole course.(all holes are par 3’s)
(holes range from 105m to 185m) no easy pushover course, with sloping greens, deep bunkers and water on 6 holes.

played a match play game of Vision Pro tour V (yellow) vs Titleist Tru soft
Vision played Blue tees front 9 Titleist played red tees back 9 T played Blue V played Red.

good fun match with Vision 2 up with 3 to play then hit over fence on 7th hole and held with 4’s at 8 and 9 to win 1 up.
Monday is pick of days this week and Tour manager has approved me a game again tomorrow so will play at Home of golf in morning, then baby sit grand daughter in afternoon.

I played 12 holes in the sunshine. My back is a little touchy today, so I tend to swing around my body a bit and get the hooks. At least I get to practice my recovery shots! Putting and short game OK. Approach shots short and left.
