How did you go on the wrecker? In case you don’t remember, the par 3 17th hole?

29 points, 34 putts.I always consider 30 as the tipping level between a good and poor result. <30 points and it reminds me of my annual school report” If only he would apply himself, he would do so much better”

long par 3 GPS said 177m to flag into a 2 club wind, lucky I hit a straight driver to front edge, chipped to 1.5m and made putt. for a nice 3.
my playing partner, hit first one OOB. then knocked his provisional on to green and holed putt for a nice 4./2The next hole 18th I lost ball in water with second shot.
also 8th hole is a double water carry, so that might be one thinking of,= poor tee shot on wrong line lost a vision ball to water gods.
good fun day out with some nice locals.
off to Bundaberg for next round on Thursday or Friday-

ParticipantStab at Warra on Tues, great weather again.
Had a reasonably good round with 18 out, 17 back for 35 points.
I had a chip-in on the 3rd but countered that with a 3-putt on the 13th. That 13th gave us all grief with all 4 in the group 3-putting. Overall, 31 putts.
Knocked a few more points off my ‘cap.Stab again today, then pennant match on Sunday.

ParticipantStab at Warra yesterday. Another warm sunny day.
A 3-putt on the 6th (18 index), and on the 9th. But a good collection of 1-putts. 16 out, 15 back for 31 total.
No wipes. Five 3-points helped. 18 out, 19 back for 37 point total. That trimmed another .4 off my ‘cap.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantPennant match at Mirboo North today.
Nice mild weather, max around 20°, no rain, ground dry.
Started on the 18th. I had to give 4 strokes (on 8, 9, 10 & 18).
I had a win on 18 and was 3 up after 4. Then the wheels fell off.
Finished with a miserable loss of 5&4.The course was in much better condition than the last time I played there. Now well worth a visit.

ParticipantStab at Warra yesterday.
Despite the promise of thunderstorms and hail, it was fine and mostly sunny, but not very warm like it had been recently. The winter weather has arrived.
Points: 20 out, 13 back, 33 total. 31 putts.
It only takes a slight niggle from the buggered hip to throw the swing completely off.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

I’m half way through a 4 month wait for an appointment with the specialist, even though I played golf with him a few weeks ago. Then, I get onto the bottom of his wait list. He mentioned that he had 380 on his public wait list and does 14 a week. So I might be waiting until next year.
