KeymasterNOTICE: Early Bird registration opened 1 April (no fooling). We can officially start the countdown and hopefully be together sipping some beverages in a few month’s time!
I’m being optimistic on numbers for the weekend- but Qld has possibly half of them confirmed! Don’t miss out by waiting too late. You can always cancel later like some. Also, we’ve got decent pricing for shared accom, or your own if you like, BUT make sure you advise ASAP if you haven’t already. We can’t guarantee we will have the rooms available in a few months.
UPDATE: Dinner Box paid 1-6
DM me when you are ready to pay- Ill confirm all requests with a price. We also will need to fit in the accom request- so if you have not thus far let me know so Piggy can update his list.

Got an update from the tour operator that Mads and I have been speaking to today.
The good news is that rooms have been reserved for us. No deposit required just yet, and should covid intervene we will be off the hook even at only 24 hours notice.
The bad news is that the rates have gone up. Jimmy Barnes is playing that weekend in the Hunter and its a very busy time of year.
Here are the rates directly quoted from todays correspondence:
4 nights (Wed – Sunday)
$520pp (4 share within a 3 bedroom apartment)
$692pp(single share rooms within a 3 bedroom apartment)
3 nights (Thu – Sunday)
$425pp (4 share within a 3 bedroom apartment)
$566pp (single share rooms within a 3 bedroom apartment)
2 nights (Fri – Sunday)
$330pp (4 share within a 3 bedroom apartment)
$440pp (single share rooms within a 3 bedroom apartment)If you book direct with the hotel the price would be around 40% more for that weekend
It is what it is. The accom is first class, but not cheap. At least we would be in the same place as a big group.
If this pushes anybody over the edge and you wish to find your own accom, by all means do so. Just let me know if you go elsewhere. We will group people as best we can, or let me know your group of 3 or 4 as some have already done. As stated previously, I expect to be asking for deposit money mid-year, and for the whole deal to be cut off shortly after.
Cheers
Pig-

ParticipantDo I recall correctly that the NSW’ers advised that Elanore and Terrey hills are easy to walk? Was there the offer of a motorised cart option for one of those maybe??

I’ll let those that are capable of walking answer that one, but as a comparison, I would put both a little tougher than Growling Frog and longer. There are probably better examples, Portsea comes to mind, but not sure if you have played it.

For me they are both an easy walk. Electric Buggies available at Elanora, If anyone wants an EB then let me know and I’ll put you on the list to reserve one. They are $10 to hire. The “Motorised Cart” option is in Madams cost rundown.
Not sure what Terrey Hills have with regards to EB’s for hire.
