Went to NZ last year – Queenstown is pretty good. Queenstown course itself is pretty average, but Arrowtown and Cromwell are top value standouts. Jacks and Millbrook both overpriced, and a little over-rated – but are the best value top tier courses over there.
Christchurch is worth a look too – Terrace Downs, Clearwater, Russley, Pegasus, Christchurch GC all rate well in the NZ course rankings.

We were in Queenstown November last year Jack’s Point and Millbrook are really good. Queenstown is shit.
Cromwell is like a longer version of dunheved.
Heard good things about the Hills but very pricey and need a invite.

I didn’t mind Queenstown but in comparison to the others I can see your point.
We got snowed out for Jacks round
1: Hills
2: Jack’s Point
3: Millbrook
4: ArrowtownRemarkable Golf tours got us on all at reasonable cost (approx $160-180 per round on average)
I would love to go again…

Maybe where you visit but there are nice area’s Davenport etc, or is is it that they don’t like short people in Aucklanf
