I jumped my 30 June target, going from 16.0 to 17.0 in one round yesterday.
And now there’s a little icon (a ‘cap’) on my golflink page.Goal achieved.
People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.

Stab at Warra today with CB80 and Dancer.
My game has improved slightly with the majority of drives being straight enough, but chipping length was unreliable. A couple of 3-putts didn’t help. Three wipes didn’t help either.
29 points.

Xrman 17.5 /18.0 / 16.0Seems most will not reach the achievable…. so feel free to reset the reset button from now until the end of year. Fair to say it will be a new calendar from the 1/7/20. Maybe a current then 30/9/ to 31/12/20.. I for one will not be making mine so ambitious.

When we made our estimates, most would not have considered the new world order – world handicap system.
At Warragul where I play most rounds, the course rating is two under par, so all playing handicaps had two deducted. I expected that, in time (20 rounds), most handicaps would have edged back out those two shots. But it hasn’t happened. The two month break from golf may have slowed that.
My handicap, on the other hand, continued to plummet before the lockdown. I must have been doing something right. I wonder what it was?
Now, that two stroke variance has caught up with me and my 30 June estimate of 16.5 has become 18.2, in the soft cap area.
My low point was 13.9, which was generated around the start of March but continued into late May as the flags moved down my list. So the top of my handicap can only get to 18.9 for the next year.
Maybe I can fix my swing and get out from under the cap.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

I just didn’t play enough to reach my goals.The good news is that I should be able to meet my whole year goals by the end of the year
