Started the year at 18.2, have moved back to my soft cap 21.5
not expecting any movement south till the Wrist improves..

I’m currently 18.8 but I haven’t played my 20 rounds yet so it’s not accurate and gone from 16.2 to 18.8 after 2 higher rounds..

Goal is to keep it under 21 once the 20 rounds are up and then work down from there.

Once you have your first 8 rounds, you will have your handicap. Anything over your worst flag won’t count and anything under will decrease your handicap. Unless you have a couple of real shockers on reaching your 8, then you should remain under 21.

Played Helensvale yesterday with Qld crew- shortish course, narrow fairways, firm, and pretty windy. Great greens though a bit firm and fast.

Last game with a month ago which I played pretty well- clubs have been in the closet since with only a large bucket the day before to try and loosen up.

Lack of playing adn practice definitely showed- just couldn’t get things into any real groove, and when missed a fairy you had some bump adn run recovery from soft and hard lies. Too many doubles!

Great to get out though with Weetie, Kenny and Clayton in our group. 32 pts was the best of the group of 12.

Coming off a really good streak lately and I was actually down to 4.6 for a while. My year-end goal used to be 5.0 but I’m going with 3.5 now. Quite a challenge and I need to get more practice in to achieve it.
