ParticipantI’ve finally edged my ‘cap out to 18.0
That’s in line with the original estimates considering the goal posts were moved by 2 when GA included a ‘rating – par’ adjustment into the equation.Which makes no difference at all to your played to score.
What would you be out to if you weren’t on the anchor adjustment that kicks in after you’re 3+?
If he didn’t have an anchor – I think he’d be floating.

19.1
I hit my 13.9 low point in March. But because of no golf, it was still hanging around on 23 May. So I cannot get beyond 18.9 until after May next year. In the meantime I’m still playing crap.
I’ve been capped since mid June.
My average score over the last 20 is 28.75. I’ve had one 36 points, one 35 points and seven others that made it to 30 points. But at least only one below 20. Do you need any more evidence of crap golf?People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.

last 10 rounds this month =94.6 +/- 4.
your last 20 rounds average 94.2 +/- 4Q.1) what target score would satisfy you as NOT Crap. ?
2) what areas of your game needs to improve to reach this target score, it is either wasting shots
a) from the tee to 100m or
b) shots inside 100m.3) practice that area to improve

Consistency would improve my average scores considerably. I can stuff up all types of shots, and manage to do that too often.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

Just regular play in the hope that my aging brain learns what works and what doesn’t.

ParticipantSo, pretty much doing the same thing and expecting different results?
That sounds like a plan to live by.I’m going to try to trademark that quote because I thought of it.
