As at 30/6/21, my GA index was 20.5. I can’t go beyond 21.4 until next year. While I’d like to think my golfing ability is improving, the reality is that my handicap movement proves otherwise.
So, my new targets are:
30/6/21: 20.5
31/12/21: 20
30/6/22: 20
i.e. no worse

People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.
Progress is man's ability to complicate simplicity.

Difficult to get down to 7 with the limited games I’ve had due to lockdown. Probably would have been happier in the 8’s but hopefully we get the rest of this year on the golf course to try to improve. Weird times….

I feel that the above list of names is likely to decrease in stature rather than grow. Also seems that with the way things are with Covid, those that are participating are having a heck of a time getting on the course, let alone achieving a goal at the present time.

Perhaps we reset the playing field, with just a current handicap and an end of year status.

So to start afresh.

I took my D game to a scrapes course and hit 97 OTS last game. It has been pouring rain and cold for two days locally, so there goes any chance of improvement for 3-4 months. I will be lucky to maintain 13.
