KeymasterWell after a decent run, the last 2 weeks have been pretty ordinary. 28 points has been my best round in that time…so that probably says it all.
Today was interesting. Off 18 on the Nursery course, started double (1 point), wipe, double (1), wipe, double (1), wipe. For a massive 3 points after 6 holes. At this stage some would have declared a practice round…others may have walked. They may well have been the sensible ones. Continued and parred 7 to double my stableford score. Finished (1), (2) for 9 points on the front. 18 on the back. So at least that felt better. And to be honest, the back 9 today was about as in control as I’ve felt in 2 weeks. Certainly in the last few hours, anyway.
Off to the Sunshine Coast on Saturday so I’ll miss the next couple of Saturdays of golf. That may not be a bad thing.

KeymasterTalk to me when you wipe an entire 9 in a par comp.
Enjoy the sunshine, Sunshine.
That certainly was “special”. And you found new and interesting ways to wipe every hole.
Still amounted to the same 9 stableford points on the 9, though…although I would have been only -6 in Par…gotta love Par.

KeymasterAnd then of course, there was Oz’s stableford score of 8 for the entire round at Heritage.
That takes crap to a new, subterranean level.

Our man Wayne Bruce had 13 points playing off 30 at Keysie yesterday.
I imagine Oz was playing off less than that at Heritage, so the Batman might have come close to at least equalling that hideous effort1 user liked this post.

KeymasterHow was the Sunshine Coast?
A little wet on a couple of days mate…but I pretty much did nothing for a week…and I wasn’t at work. Read a couple of books, and my daughters and I tend to play cards when we’re indoors – but only when we’re on holidays.
So…all good.
