ParticipantMy minor inconvenience was nothing compared to all those whose homes were crushed or flooded and those who won’t have power restored for weeks.

ParticipantHoping against hope that restrictions are eased before Friday. Have entered in the Beaufort GC Annual Tournament this weekend (absolute cracker of a weekend). But unfortunately still locked down to 25km.
Fingers Crossed.

Just go the town folk at Beaufort will be very pleased to see you, and will welcome you.
from driving around lately seems there are no police patrolling the regional areas.
dont get caught for speeding, as that is only way they will track you downenjoy the tournament.

While I agree that 99.9% of people would have no issue of me being there, it is the 0.1% that may say something. My family is well renowned in the area and have been an integral part of the golf club, I wouldn’t risk my being there to reflect back on the club in a negative way.
So fingers crossed that we get an easing announced today.
Besides I am supposed to be playing on Friday with my brother in-law who is a copper.1 user liked this post.

ParticipantGOLF is on – I can get out of Melbourne – might sit at home for next 2 days to avoid inadvertently stumbling in to an exposure site.

It was only a Melb lockdown, those of us in the country continued our normal existence. Except for the last one where we weren’t allowed to congregate at home with friends despite no cases east of Melb.

ParticipantNot in lockdown, but I’ve been watching Boardwalk Empire during idle time and when there’s nothing entertaining on free-to-air.
Neighbour gave me season one on disks but I prefer to stream them instead of fiddling with disks.
Only problem is that there are five seasons each of 12 one hour episodes.
Part way through season two. This might take awhile.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
