U.S. Kids Golf offering first ever Australian coaching certification
For the first time, US Kids Golf will run its Certified Coaches Seminar in Australia this September, allowing local professionals the chance to learn the latest techniques for teaching junior golfers from two ‘Master Coaches’, while also becoming internationally accredited.
The US Kids Golf Coaches Institute developed the renowned program guided by the company’s years of experience in developing its junior clubs and fitting system, as well as its expansive tournament program, and gives coaches access to drills and game-based learning techniques.
The one day program will be run by Vice President of the US Kids Golf Coaches Institute John Bryan and PGA Master Professional and Director of Player Development for the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation John Godwin and is taking place in Melbourne (September 3), Brisbane (September 5) and Sydney (September 7). Including classroom and practical sessions covering a range of topics, US Kids Golf hopes the seminar will help increase the quality of junior coaching in Australia.

“The US Kids Golf Certified Coach Program has been part of our program for over 10 years and it’s the first time it’s being offered to Coaches involved in junior golf in Australia – it’s just such a sensational way to help Australian coaches grow and develop our game,” Managing Director US Kids Golf Australia Kevin Wallis said.
Each coach who takes part in the program and is accredited is then included in the “Find a Coach” section of the international and local US Kids websites and become eligible for the US Kids Golf Top 50 Teachers Awards.
