BIG time golf returns to Toowoomba next week when the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship tees off at City Golf Club on Thursday.

But not all the golfing action will be reserved for the pros on course.

Toowoomba people from office workers to families are invited to take part in the City Golf Club Urban Golf Challenge when it makes its Queensland debut in the CBD on Thursday afternoon.

Urban Golf puts a fun take on golf on a challenging six-hole course in Ruthven St.

Play runs from 4-7pm with registrations taking place at Kwong Sang Walk near the intersection of Ruthven and Little Sts.
