Backing up from my game yesterday, went out for 9 holes of speed golf this morning with my hybrid, 7 iron and putter shot a 38 OTS in 31 minutes (bit slow as running a bit further to place clubs so as to not get wet grips in the morning dew). Had 39 OTS for the same 9 holes yesterday (in 1 hour and 45 minutes) with all my clubs. Beginning to think I should chuck out most of my set might help reduce my over thinking of my game.
First game back in about 10 to 12 weeks. Wasn’t expecting much and for the first few holes my expectations were met with 5 points after 4 holes. Started hitting a few fairways and greens after that and managed to cobble together 35 points in cold sometimes rainy conditions to take out the competition. Putting was poor, ball striking was poor but somehow managed to score OK, no finesse just sheer will.
It is really nice weather for golf right now
Just rubbing it in to us Mexicans that aren’t allowed to swing a club.

I’m with you less access to junk food more access to fruit and less social drinks. Means I’ve dropped a couple of kg’s as well.

Common sense message – received something similar from my Tennis club. Nothing from my golf club as yet though.
Oz it is not quite that simple. There have been cases of asymptomatic transfer-that is people not displaying symptoms transferring the virus, also with the peak of the virus predicted to be around May it is also coming into peak flu/cold season many exhibiting potentially mild symptoms will simply right it off as a cold potentially passing it to someone more susceptible to the virus. Let’s face it a majority of golf memberships would fit into the at risk category.
I’m not saying cancel golf because I believe outdoor exercise is highly beneficial in promoting a healthy immune system but should golf clubs be putting in precautions such as hand sanitizer available, discouraging hand shaking, maybe cancelling or rescheduling some events etc.

Quarterly medal. 76 nett 68. Runner up in A grade on a countback to a young kid I played with yesterday. He was even with card after 10 but faded to finish 8 over.
Tough losing a countback to that scoring. I assume you didn’t start on the first if the kid was 8 over on the back.
