ParticipantGuess what Weeti?!?
I’ve been invited back to Piney to play again this weekend!!
That’s two games in a few weeks. It’s like all of my Christmases have come at Christmas time. It’s a two person ambrose so it will be me and The Rusty Old, playing off something like 4.
Suuuuuuuper duuuuuuuper keen, especially now that the drop of rain will have brought the course back to life and I now know where to hit it again after the practice the other weekBumpunRun
ParticipantSunny Qld eh!!!!
It was last week, and the months leading up to our family holiday at the Gold Coast this week….

ParticipantPlaying up at Beacy tomorrow and may call into the clubhouse post round, to find out what the fark they plan to do.
Perhaps being there in person asking the question will make a difference. IF not, well I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.
I could always just let it lapse completely . and then apply for a membership all over again.
At the moment, they have a deal going on where “new members” get a $50 voucher for the pro shop or bar included in their membership. Rejoining might make me eligible for that and could be the only way to ever get anything out of the bastards.
I’ve got another 50 that says you won’t be eligible.

ParticipantOh, umm easily at least 8 or 9.
Maybe more if I were to include the restBumpunRun
ParticipantI played my first round in a while which included swinging a club for the first time in a while.
Hit a wedge on the par 3 1st a touch thin and it went out of bounds long.
Wash
Smashed 3 wood with draw that took a wicked kick left into the dam.
1 point
Smashed driver, chipped up and three putted
1 point
Smashed driver along the right hand side.
Couldn’t find the ball under the leaves.
Wash.
I was two points after 4 holes.
The greens had been cored recently and weren’t as brilliant as Piney greens always are and the overall course was as sad a condition as I’ve ever remembered seeing it, it was a real shame for the team.
Finished with 30 points.
The best thing about the day was exactly what I had hoped it would be.Correction, I had 31 points all up. So that must have been something like 4 over in the last 14 holes.
But still, the best part was being in the cart next to the Rusty Old Man
Next game, TBA. Probably not this year, but one day soon enough.

ParticipantYep, best part about any golf game is the company you share it with. Well, most of the time anyway. I assume that is what you are talking about.
Abso-1000%-lootly.

ParticipantVery much an option too.
I am open to suggestions of which you think
And that was the swing that was critiqued by one/some on here by sawing he saw me do something bad which others couldn’t see. It was his fine eye for detail that allowed him to point out the swing faults.

ParticipantAnd, in the giddy head buzz excitement of boasting about your return to Piney you’ve overlooked an important consideration; What are you planned choices of attire?
Thanks Hack, I’m glad you asked.
I think I’ve narrowed it down to either subtle and somewhat classic or bright and bold. The elegant is an RQ shirt which has a white back and blue to light blue fade on the front. This will be paired with navy shorts and grey belt.
The fun will be a well used combo of bright green shirt and my blue and white “check” striped shorts and maybe white belt.
What I’m wearing here https://youtu.be/PrD5HrSVZYkThe hat for each option is yet to be confirmed.
