Stableford SLGC. Great morning for golf, cool with a light breeze, no excuses.
Playing off 18, a very steady start, turned the corner with 18
A bit up and down over the next 9 but evened out to a nice 20 for a total of 38
Disappointing result on the last, after a good drive, pulled my second shot, chipped short and ended with one point.
Should be enough to take my GA back to 18.0 or close to that.
Happy to end the golfing year at that level.
Will push down a few more shots next year.

Saturday, SLGC. 18 out and 15 in, just couldn’t get it all together. Great day with my regular crew.
Monday, Vets at SLGC. Shotgun start, Started on the 2nd, one of those days, never seemed to hit a good drive (one great one for the day), second shot seemed to be hit or miss, chipped close quite a bit and made some putts. 17 out, with a hole to go. 21 coming in, followed by a 2 on the first to finish the day, 40. It just never felt like it.
Beaten on countback, had to go back 8 holes, really fun day with a few friends.
Sometimes you feel like you are going well but not scoring.
Monday felt like I left a lot behind but ended with 40
Golf, go figure
handicap back to where I was in April before I injured my wrist.

Ball Anywhere on Course Interfering with Play
(1) Meaning of Interference by Another Player’s Ball. Interference under this Rule exists when another player’s ball at rest:

Might interfere with the player’s area of intended stance or area of intended swing,
Is on or close to the player’s line of play such that, given the intended stroke, there is a reasonable chance the player’s ball in motion could hit that ball, or
Is close enough to distract the player in making the stroke.
(2) When Relief Is Allowed from Interfering Ball. If a player reasonably believes that another player’s ball anywhere on the course might interfere with the player’s own play:

The player may require the other player to mark the spot and lift the ball (see Rule 14.1), and the ball must not be cleaned (except when lifted from the putting green under Rule 13.1b) and must be replaced on its original spot (see Rule 14.2).
