Social game at Mccracken golf club, windy, Hilly.
Tough walk (or I’m too old), Didn’t feel like I hit the driver well but managed to find the green in about the right number of shots. However, I did find it hard to read the greens and left a lot of putts just off or short of the hole. Finished with 27 points, which I wasn’t overly unhappy with, considering the wind.
Great Views of the surrounding area.

Saturday, SLGC, Stabb, Windy cold. played off 21
Started slow missing silly stuff, a chip or a short put.
Turned the corner with 17 points and was surprised to have that.
Played better on the back nine, steady would be a better description, 22 points.
39 points, fourth overall 2nd in my grade.
Two good games in a week and my GA has come down, Off my cap for the first time in four months.
New GA 20.3 On my way back down to my goal.

SLGC Stroke, playing off 22, a perfect day for golf. Warm sunshine and light wind.
Started badly with a Ten on a par 4 (hooked a three-wood over the fence, dropped another ball, and did it again) then an 8 a bit later, two pars for a front 9 total of 51
three holes into the back nine and I tweaked my back racking a bunker. I shuffled along for the rest of the day.
even with the back screaming in pain, I played well, five pars! finished with 41 on the back nine.
Five over on the way out, Five under on the way in, giving me even Par 70.
Good result but not a day I felt good about.

just purchased one of these’s for my Wife, she loves it.
If you are going to push it, it rolls well and seems to be good.
Nice storage area in the handle.

Stroke MM, SLGC Rain, Wind. Started badly with three tops in a row. 8 over for my handicap on the front nine. Steady rain and not much wind for the back nine and I played better, go figure. Played even to my Handicap, back nine. Finished with 100 strokes, 22 handicap, for a 78. Not unhappy with the result for the conditions. Low numbers for the day, only 37 Men and 14 Women finished.

Par. Played late (for me), grandkids soccer in the morning (two hour round trip, plus the match). Felt tired before I started..
Hit the ball ok, at times, missed too many chips!
didn’t feel like I was playing well, the cold came in as we neared the finish.
Ended 2up after 9 and even at the end.
    can’t complain about that. But..

Thank you for your encouragements. Every now and then I need a good kick to remind myself to be grateful. Thankful I have beautiful and great friends like you. Love this big family, everyone is special. Hopefully Nats 2021.

I’ve gone and bought an MGI Navigator and just want to get out on the course to “test my skill” in keeping it out of the dams at Southern. ?

Second day out someone at my local, dropped the remote in his pocket.
Had a Tee in his pocket as well.
Bent over and the button must have been pushed..
New MGI buggy in the Dam
    It happens..

Stab, SLGC. Windy-35 gusting to 50klm. Raining so stayed home till almost My tee time, Stopped raining 15 mins before my start time, walked down to the course, putted 4 balls. Called up to the tee! Not an ideal warmup.
Drove the ball low into the wind and High down wind, worked most of the time.
On the green for 2 (par 4), three times and three putted !
    Missed too many chips short.
Over all felt like I left a lot out there.
39pts. Won the day by two.
    Golf!!

    Saturday, Club champs, Semi-Finals.
Three lucky breaks for my opponent in the first 4 holes, saw him out to an early lead.
Stayed just behind till the ninth, lost that one, to turn 2 down.
Downhill from there, to lose on the 14th. He went on to win on Sunday, well played!
My chipping let me down, chuned too many, and hard to recover a shot, we were evenly matched.
My second try at match play, liked it but a different feeling to my normal golf.
    Will try again next year.

SLGC, Stroke, First round of Club Champ’s.
Wrist still giving me problems, Handicap out 4 strokes, My last 20 rounds all up against my Cap. Played off 23.
Reviewing a grip video during the week I realized I had let me grip slip a bit, made an effort to straighten up, it worked!
Pared the first two holes and apart from two bad holes (6 on a par 3 & 8 on a par 5) couldn’t do much wrong.
Drives were mostly off-center hits, on the clubface but still mostly OK. Chips were mostly long..
Came in with a score of 66 to be placed second overall
That’s GOLF You just never know where it’s coming from.

Saturday, Second round of Club Champs (or Chumps)
Played the first 9 in two over my handicap, played the next 9 in 12 over !!
for a total of 84. could not swing a club in any rhythm. Played the last four holes in the rain.
66 & 84 was enough to qualify for the quarters on Sunday.
Sunday, fairly even on the first 9 but won the last two to be 2 up at the turn.
Won the next two as well, when suddenly my opponent forgot how to count!!
Corrected his scoring on the next four holes!! It was becoming quite a joke.
Finished on the 16th 4 up
Didn’t play all that well but put some good drives in play that made it hard for my opponent (who was a short hitter).
Going to be a very even match next Saturday, We both play long and erratic and have the same handicap.
    Can’t wait.

    good score

Is SLGC out side the prison area.

Thought clubs were not supposed to play competitions at moment.

SLGC is in the deep south of Adelaide SA, Goolwa
Great little town with limited restrictions.
I feel for the Vic’s, stay safe and do the right thing.

    My bad
what is SLGC an acronym for.
