30 Pts. My best since March, still having trouble with the wrist, finish a lot of shots with one hand on the club, that can’t be good.
Played in Glorious sunshine, (the wife played in freezing temperatures at 7.30, not fun)
Hit two Crack’en six irons, on to the greens. a few good drives but my day seemed to be just playing catch up.
when I made a good shot I scored well, when I didn’t it was crap.
Any one else have trouble with an inflamed wrist ??My club (SLGC) is also using the app. Most are using although not all in favour.
I like it, you can tap the par for the hole (5) then add for your stroke, plus one tap or two.
if your playing partner fails to log your score, it can be looked up on Miscore by the captain.

Great walk but the golf not so good.
Wrist heavily strapped so I can’t bend it down.
Hit some good shots but too many in between that were not.
Finished with 26pts, short walk home for many well earned Beers.

Not good, few nice drives few nice irons, putted well.
but add it all together and only good enough for 22pts.
My club has been open for social golf and now comp golf but
I hurt my Left wrist and Right elbow cutting down some trees.
my first game since.I use this one, lots of other types. Ball grips after a good scrape.
Lot’s of old Men and Ladies in my club who have lost partners and Golf is all they have.

But people should Still not be driving about unnecessarily

For myself, I walk 300m to the course, with my Wife. Play for awhile and walk back.
What we all don’t want is people driving long or extra distances to find a golf club that will let them play.
A few months or more if needed, will see us all through this thing.
Lot’s of old Men and Ladies in my club who have lost partners and Golf is all they have.Just received an email from My club (SLGC), that we can resume playing social golf in groups of two, as of tomorrow.
Lot’s of restrictions, NO comp, no pro shop, no alcohol, no practice range, no congregating.
Members only and must book, group of two, prior to playing.
For me it means I can take a walk on the course with my wife or mate, as long as I book.
Great News, hope other courses can follow.That didn’t take long, It’s official, Course is Closed

Round 2. Paired with a man I do not like, It got in my head for a few holes, then settled a bit. Game was a bit off but came home with a bit of a Run and made up for some of my loss at the start. Hole of the round, 11th, slight dogleg right, hit my drive past the bend to be 97m out, took the pitching wedge and landed it just short of the flag, rolled out half a metre, leaving me pin high, one metre to the right, I Missed the putt…….
Ended with 75 net, which was just enough to win the B grade Net.
No official word yet but club is rumoured to close for comp golf before the next one on Wednesday.1 user liked this post.
SLGC still playing for now. Stroke, two day event, playing off 19, Hit the ball well and was even to my handicap after 5.. then hit a wrong ball, was not going well that hole before that, crap after. Did well on the back nine to end up with 89 strokes, even par for the course. just have to hole it together for tomorrow.. see what happens!
