ParticipantAfter a crazy year of wet weather, the gods…PJ ..decided to give us a break and turn on a superb day for the 7th running of the PJ Memorial event
It was great to be on the course again for just my 3rd game of the year, playing with Blacksnake and Greywolfe. A thoroughly enjoyable round, even though I still need the L plates for the remote buggy…note to self, do not leave remote in pocket when bending down to look at putting line. Special thanks to Blacksnake for his distance guidance…110m was it? And of course it was fantastic to have the SOI operating again…Nationals look out!
Thank you to all that played and contributed to this years funds, a total of $685.00 raised. Thank you Chris for keeping our company on the day as usual and for bringing such an amazing cake…now who was it that took home the balance of leftovers? You were very naughty in arranging the lunch!!
Results for the day: Yes Francie…Golflinked! π
Winner: Schmuck 42pts
R/Up: Barenski 38
3rd: Greywolfe 35
4th: Zookeeper 31
5th: Commish 30
6th: Snorkelguru 27
7th: Peppas 26
8th: Blacksnake 25
9th: Rami (N/Score)NTP’s
2nd: Commish
4th: Zookeeper
6th: Barenski
9th: Peppas (Nearest in 2)
17th: CommishSnorkelguru invited his mate, Rami, who is new to golf and hopefully we will see him at future L4G event, even though he went through the Blacksnake interrogation process at lunch…”So, which call centre do you work at?” Absolute classic Blacksnake…and Rami took it well, firing back “How ironic that you have BLACK in your name!” π
We need to see the photos again. wish there had been photos when Paul’s brand new West Coast Eagles cart decided to have a swim in one of the ponds at Wyong π

ParticipantI look forward to these days immensely as they are a highlight in my year and today was no different .
The day was full of sunshine and laughter and towards the end a light breeze.
My heart felt thanks to Barenski, Peppa’s, Blakesnake, Greywolfe, Snorkleguru, Schmuck, Commish x, Zoo Keeper x and Rami for taking time out of their weekend to make this day happen again. I love your company, banter and our catch up chats
Apologies to Snorkleguru, Peppa’s and Rami for losing your balls, personally I blame PJ but hey at least it wasn’t bitterly cold, wet and windy π
Great to see the SOI is back thanks BS.
Congratulations to Schmuck π
I too will post some photos and videos when I resize them.
Fabulous day, thank you gents.

ParticipantAm I bringing the clubs for you?
It will be great to catch up. Enjoy my yearly jaunt.

ParticipantOk FYI the ‘professional cake maker’ I thought I had made the booking with apprently has not bothered to book me in. There will be cake just not the one I arranged weeks ago (and not done by me) not happy at all. Still cake is cake and next year, as with COVID, the awesome cake will make it’s appearance at next years soiree.

ParticipantGood Morning
Happy Fathers Day gents.Aside from Andrews suggestion above I have made a couple of calls myself and am hoping to hear back by tomorrow for Kooindah, Wyong and Peats Ridge.
RSO was $$$$$ and with adding the ‘donation’ for Beyond Blue well that was even more $$$$$ $120pp with shared cart (cart only course) and then adding the BB donation I thought too much.
.
I will let you all know hopefully by tomorrow so then you can all make the decision.Have a great day
Chris
