ParticipantStab at Warra yesterday.
No 3-putts nor chip-ins, just a good collection of 1-putts for a 31 putt total.
I wiped the 2nd with a few duffed chip shots. Out in 16, back in 21, 37 points.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantPete had 44 points with 29 putts. 28 putts got you 10pts less. Go figure.
He hits the ball a lot further than me and he’s a better golfer.

ParticipantVets at Garfield yesterday.
A little drizzle on the way to the course but none after arrival. The course was in excellent condition and has been cleaned up somewhat (tree and scrub removal) since my last visit about a year ago.
Four 1-putts, one 3-putt. As for points, I had too many wipes and ones and not enough 3-points. Total 29 points.
Winners in each grade had 40 points.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantThe usual stab at Warra yesterday.
Score was better than recent examples, but still rubbish.
Out: just 11 points with 16 putts. Three wipes, only one 3-point, only twp 1-putts.
Back: three 3-points, one wipe. One 3-putt. 16 points, 15 putts.
Total 27 points.

ParticipantScratch par? Does this mean you keep track of how many strokes you score over par?
I think it means that if you don’t par a hole, that’s a minus. Only suited to single figure golfers.

ParticipantAfter a couple of poor rounds, I topped it off with a shocker at Yallourn on Monday, just 19 points.
A bit better at Warra yesterday with 29 points and 32 putts.
I need a hip replacement, it’s been giving me curry this last week. Trouble is, I’m on a 4 month waiting list just to see the specialist, then onto the hospital waiting list for an indeterminate wait for the op. I’m on two other hospital waiting lists, one for cancer removal, the other for a prostate re-bore.
But it’s drinks tonight !People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantMM stroke & putting at Beacy.
Drives were crap, fairways were crap putting was mediocre. 34 putts 24 stab points. Drowned two balls off the tee and had an airy from another tee.
It was drizzling before we went, should’ve saved my money and gone home.
But the company was good.Beacy? Where is that?

ParticipantWelcome to Gippsland Mick.
Certainly nothing wrong with Langy if you don’t mind a bit of a drive.
Garfield would be your closest, but for a better course, try Drouin or Warragul.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantAnother stab at Warra today in fine but a little cooler weather.
Unlike Tuesday’s champagne round, today’s was shit. But that’s golf.
After 6 holes I had amassed 3 points (3×1) and 3 wipes. The ship steadied then with 2 points on both 7 and 8 and a 4-point chip-in on 9. Front nine total: 11 points, 15 putts (only one 3-putt)
Back nine was more ‘normal’ . Two 3-putts and two 3-points. Another chip-in helped. Total of 15 putts and 17 points.
End result: 30 putts, 28 points.
My aim for each round is to have more points than putts. Failed today.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantStab at Warra yesterday.
Weather was great, so was my golf, for a change.
Four 1-putts out for 14 putts. A 3-putt on 17 but two chip-ins and a solitary 1-point brought in another 14 putts for a 28 putt total. I wish I could do that every time.
Points: three 3s and two 1s for 19 points out.
On the back, two 1-points, three 2-points, two 3-points and the two chip-ins each scored 4 points, for 22 points.
41 point total meant a B grade win, also B grade mystery 6.
It’s about time i had a profitable day.

ParticipantPennant at Traralgon today, against Mirboo Nth.
I received 3 shots from my opponent but didn’t need any of them on the specified holes. Won 5&4.

ParticipantThe usual stab at Warra today.
All the tee markers were well back except one hole where they were 10m shorter. All up, well over the 100m limit. But that’s life.Front nine: 16 points with 16 putts (slow start)
Back nine: 17 points with 17 putts. My usual midweek compatriots, who play early on Saturdays, both also had 33 points. A ball dtl is very doubtful.
