I clearly jinxed it by paying for the trip.

Actually, it’s my fault. Booked my flights, which may or may not be refunded, 2 days before the spike.

I think the legend is actually a mis spelling of leg end, which means you are a heel, or best case, a toe.

G’day! So I played golf today at Kooralbyn. Great course. I really enjoy that place. There’s a hole there they claim is the hardest driving hole in Australia or something. I dont even think its the hardest hole on the course. Had so much fun with the group I was with, chipped in from a bunker on one hole and to prove it wasn’t a fluke chipped in again off the fairway the next hole. If I practiced more I reckon I could be good at this game. I dont have facebook so I dont know what my final result was, but I played in their copperhead challenge which is off the tips. exactly where the course should be played from. If you havent been out there lately, put it on the list.

Hope you are all doing well, staying safe and are happy and healthy. Talk soon and see some of you even sooner!

PS. I got a new golflink number, I’ve been officially referred to as a legend in my account, which was kind of nice.

Hopefully?Only one active case in City of Geelong, despite migrants living here?. Probably got a good handle on what’s going on, around 500 tests a day being done in the region. I’ve had 2 negative tests so far.

    Flights are booked,

Will they let you out of your burb?

38 points, had a run of 10 straight pars, followed by a birdie. Broke the run with an ugly triple. 5 over with a few left out there was pleasing. Conditions were perfect and the scoring was good. Low round of the was an ok 7 under from a guy off +2.

I’m now planning on playing days 3-6. Keen on a quad share room, if I can find 3 people who will tolerate me.

I’d avoid playing too early, can get heavy frosts all along the Murray in July. Sounds like a good trip, but the blokes going at this stage are shockers?

I also had the pleasure of being served by the young lass behind the bar. Not sure what Tony experienced but I gather it was similar to myself. Although she had the customer service personality of a brick, I have been served by far worse at a few golf clubs of less and similar standard. Doesn’t necessarily excuse her behaviour, but I guess I am just as bad, because when I went back for my 2nd beer, she was at the bar with the young bloke. She enquired as to what I wanted and I ignored her and asked the young fella for a beer. Sort of my way of saying, you may not like having to serve me, but I don’t have to talk to you either.

At the end of the day, the interaction you have with one person should not define the entire establishment. Everyone else I dealt with on that day were most pleasant and accommodating. I guess in the end, no matter where I may be or what type of establishment I am in, I don’t really give a fuck about the persons attitude toward me unless it is downright rude, as long as I get what I asked for.

Oh, and the course was a cracker.

I’ve heard everyone who works there is an arsehole.

Definitely in for 3&4, will confirm more as soon as I can. Probably 2 &5 as well.

Green jacket is my vote, even though it will clash with most ensembles.
