ParticipantQuarterly medal. 76 nett 68. Runner up in A grade on a countback to a young kid I played with yesterday. He was even with card after 10 but faded to finish 8 over. Not normally happy to lose on a countback, but he’s a cracking kid, and had his best ever score. Conditions were pretty tough, blowing 20-30kph.
Highlight was holing out on the 18th with my second shot from 160 straight into the wind. KawKawKawKaw

Participant9 hole 4 club twilight comp tonight. Took out 3 wood, 7 iron, sand wedge and putter. Hit it solid, 4 pars, 4 bogeys and a birdie to finish with 18 points. Really pleased with how I hit the 3 wood. Blind draw after the comp, and I managed to get someone else who played well and came away with the win.

Participant3 good options in Yarrawonga sounds great. Not far to a few other good options for extra rounds. Count me in.

ParticipantAn ok round. 35 points playing off 10. Conditions must have been tougher than I thought, missed runner up in A grade on a count back.
Dressed down a bit as a tribute to a mate who passed away prior to last weeks round. I found out about his passing just prior to teeing off last week, talking to his brother between the practice green and tee was hard for both of us.
Gray short, shorts, hat and belt to remember Garry who I gave the nickname of “Fiddy” to due to his penchant for wearing multiple shades of gray.
Catching up with his brother post round was a special moment.
R.I.P. Garry.

More than happy for people to spell poorly in my thread, but please keep content to how you played, not that you are going to play. I think the administrators have set up an area for that.?1 user liked this post.
