Shame won’t be able to catch up. Hopefully see you in sunny Qld in 2023. Maybe the predicted cyclones will all be gone by then?. As for the clubs, you only need a 3W, 6i, PW and putter you beast.

    I played a round with just a 5 iron once. Had a 92. I was happy with that……..

    Come visit some time.

Heard you fellas were planning a golf weekend? Anything firmed up yet, thought I might try and come along.

Hmmm 10 days away. You might get a spot for the games, but accommodation is going to be a real problem. PM Mads or Goldy.

Unfortunately Dave you are correct. It was a Hail Mary that didn’t come off.

In any case I hope the schedule is amazing, everyone has a n amazing time and I’ll look forward to the next ones.

I will also commit to looking for my golf clubs which I’m sure are around here somewhere…………

Dear Mads. So here’s the thing. Put me down for one of everything. I may be there. I may be not. But more importantly you guys are in the top twenty of the top twenty people I know. If I have to drive myself I will participate. If I have to go with bump, I’ll put up with the pain. If I have to be the second best looking guy in the car behind Nathan I will deal with it. This is too important. If anyone misses this based on cost alone they have missed the point. I have 3m frequent flyer points that says you no longer have an excuse. Go play golf and live to tell the story. Muzz you in? Make it so.

G’day Madam. I thought I might head down for one or two of the days. I don’t know which ones. But put me down as a sponsor of a few NTP and worst dressed awards. Hope everyone are doing well. Stay safe. PG.

And to think the other guy in your cart was only able to birdie two of those three holes. Such a pretender.

Looks like Sanctuary Cove with water in play on 19 of the 18 holes. Hows the drainage? Do you need to wait long before you can play again?

Last time I played at Sanctuary Cove I remember a lot of water holes.

From memory, the toughest ones with water carries were 4, 14, 15 and 16. The ones on the back nine are definitely a challenging stretch of holes that can make or break your round.

B9 made your round didnt it?

Birdies on 14, 15 and 16 did help make the round what it was, yeah.

I’m sure it was closer to 60.
That’s a perpetual favourite, so it wasn’t something as special

Then it must have been when you went on a solo mission taking hours out of your day to search the whole course to find my putter cover (which has immense sentimental value and was definitely worth the effort).

I’m forever indebted and unsure how to ever repay the commitment.

Calling a shot and then making it. I know for a fact I’ve done that at least once in total in my entire golfing career.

Can you remember what my other favourite part of the day was?

Easy. Me out out driving you by 50m on the 17th. You love it when that happens.

    Forget to mention …

Thanks to Weeti too for the scorecard entry etc.

Shame you were not there for the presentation Bump.

Shame you had to go too Pants.

+1 on the scorecard entry from Weeti. An often overlooked part of our game is the effort behind the scenes. Truly appreciated as usual.

Tell us a 5 iron story or two if you please, good sir…..

Its a story of good vs evil.

A tale of the fearful vs the fearless.

A yarn of the mocked v the conqueror.

Standing 40m out I always thought I should learn how to hit a wedge, but when you can literally hit it that close and you are still holding your favourite club, why bother?

I used to think it was the worst thing about me, now i just accept it. At the halfway mark I was honestly on ebay trying to find a spare MP37 5i S-Flex. The world would crumble without it by my side.
