ParticipantSo was just hanging around here a bit more and I noticed that I had “been liked 10 times”. It means a lot, but if I’m being honest, I’d give it all back to have been loved once. Just saying……

Participant“Brushless lips technology” I’ve never actually heard of by the way. That might have meant to have been brushless, LiPo battery technology

ParticipantI played at Sanctuary Cove as a member’s guest.
It was genuinely one of my very top few best ever days at golf.
Playing with Dad, Placegetter and accepting a very late call up, a bloke who I played with all of the time at Piney who I haven’t seen or played with in too long a time.
So many reasons for it to be the best day, I loved it so much and Placegetter is still the most awesome human in the whole world. Some home course advantage helped him rave to an insurmountable lead of 21 shots by half way. He was just too good in the end.
There must be something to this not drinking business. It felt like all of my Christmases came today so that’s why I decided to post it here in this thread, sounds good yeah?
First hole of the day, smashed 3 wood, flicked up a lob wedge to a few feet for a tap in bird.
I was ready to finish there, obviously the course was going to be too easy.Have I mentioned it was a great day?
Here I am! Dropping by with clockwork regularity. It’s been quite an eventful few weeks in the office and that day on the 2nd with Bump was pretty much the only break I took from mid-December to now. I valued it a lot, he’s fun to be around and Risty is sneaking long off the tee which is great to watch.
That being said I’m on leave for four weeks now, two weeks with the kidlings before they head back to school then I’ll head down to Central NSW for two weeks and start rebuilding fences with the rest of the volunteer brigade who are currently my heroes.
Back to the golf and it was awesome, honestly comparing Bump’s game to mine would do it injustice, it seemed at times we were literally playing different games. Tee to green for me was indescribable and the putting card of four 3-putts and one 1-putt tells the full story.
Sanctuary Cove is a great track, I’d be glad to host most people there though I will mention that Weetbix was offered the fourth spot and declined in order to play Windaroo?!?! WTF?!?!
Hope you ve all had a good start to the year, for those playing along at home, no I haven’t had a drink. The whisky cellar had some pretty tasty additions though, so 2021 will be a blinder! Love your work. Ben

ParticipantOf course I’m going to start!
I am the most popular kid in the street.
Why?
Because Santa got me a RADIO CONTROLLED CAR!
It flies.
Does AWESOME burnouts, donuts, fish tails and I’ve even got a bit of drift action happening already.
It won’t last a week the way I drive it. I’ve hit trees, letterbox x3, car wheels, boat trailer (yes, the trailer not the wheel as it launched as it rolled) and a couple of ankles. I have avoided the drain in the gutter so far though; only just.
Yes.
Oh, yeah, I also got a new shagbag.
Waiting for the battery to recharge is a PITA.
This is awesome. I love radio controlled anything. I grew up crashing RC cars with my mates, then moved on to petrol versions of the same, before discovering brushless lips battery technology. I’m guessing whatever you were given is insanely faster than whatever I was first using. I’ve moved on to drones now but it’s all cool.
On the battery charging wait, don’t be in too much of a rush, both engine and battery need to cool between drinks. Are you using LiPo batteries? Thats where the serious speed comes from.

ParticipantSo just dropping by for my regular post. As you all know I like to be incredibly consistent.
I thought I would mention that I have lined up my next game already. Well its next year, but far seems close is my motto.
Its highly likely this will be my last post for the year so with that thought in mind, I’m taking the opportunity to wish you all the best, hope Santa finds you and your loved ones, and that ultimately, 2020 is your best year yet.
To the dismay of Commish no doubt, I’d also like to advise that 2020 is an alcohol free year for me. When we catch up I will be drinking lime and soda or kombucha or quarter strength decaf lattes or something.
Onward and upward.
