Participant? If they join L4G then they are ok to join the comp aren’t they? Or did you mean something else?

ParticipantHmm, if I am to arrive at 10.30 I need to leave home at 10.23. Tough, but doable.

ParticipantI was told by the proshop that they would very much appreciate any not required tee times back within two weeks or so of the event.

ParticipantI just talked to the proshop and we have 5 tee times starting at 10:33 am. To be able to get morning tee times we will all have to play the open medley comp as well. Which I think might just be the easiest way to do it anyway? Then everyone just pays their GF and comp fee on the day and we get daily hcps and all that sorted?
Or are there any reasons for not doing it that way??

ParticipantSunday 1/3 looks like the best option then. I’ll call the pro shop today and see if I can block 5 tee times or not. If I can I guess we’ll go ahead. If I can’t get morning tee times would arvo ones be OK?
Now I just need to convince Barenski to step up and take charge! π

ParticipantI’m fine with either dates.
Barenski: What do you think, should this be the first OOM comp of the year or are there others lined up?
Hey pyl, there will be other games during the year, last year was an exception as I was just too busy to get them organised.
We usually have 5 rounds a year…February/March April July September and the COC in late November.
However with the Nationals being in NSW this year it will more than likely be March, May/June, September (L4G Memorial) October (Nationals) and November.Despite Commishs’ No Capt No Play I’m happy for someone else to run it if I’m not available…I cannot do the 23/2 otherwise I’ll no longer be celebrating anniversaries.
1/3 15/3 22/3 29/3 are my March dates (daughter getting married on 7th hence why no 8/3 in there).
So off you go with preferred dates.
Thanks!
Looks like 1/3 might be the best then since Commish has commited to coming down for that! π
Bookings for 1/3 opens in two days. I might be able to block a few tee times before then if we go for that date.
How many players do you think we might get? Would two tee times be enough? Do we put this up on ISG as well to try and get more people across to the new forum?
Edit: I’m fine with you captaining it. I have no wish to get into that quagmire if I don’t have to! π

ParticipantJust did some calculations for Wollongong GC with my GA of 6.3. WHS daily hcp off:
Black 9 (8.54)
Blue 7 (6.58)
Yellow 5 (5.39)This makes much more sense than the “old” system where the difference between black and yellow is one shot if I remember correctly (doubtful.)

ParticipantThanks Madam,
I was thinking since we’re supposed to have the first OOM game soon it might be a good idea to have this one be that game maybe?
Who is the state captain? Should I hand over responsibility for this to him?
It would be good to catch up with a few old ISG:ers again. It’s been a while since Nats now. π

ParticipantLet’s take a vote. Which date is best for I-HATG 2020? 23/2 or 1/3? Reply with your preference.
If you wish to host your own I-HATG then whatever date suits you and the majority. But as far as the L45 NSW OOM goes,
No Capt… No game.Sorry, what do you mean about no captain no game? Remember I’ve never done this before… π
