Let’s take a vote. Which date is best for I-HATG 2020? 23/2 or 1/3? Reply with your preference.

A few guys have already said 23/2. The details of format etc can be worked out until then and if not, does it really matter if the OOM stuff isn’t sorted by then?

Wollongong has an open medley comp on Sundays. If I just book a bunch of tee times for that we could all play in the comp in parallel to the I-HATG 2020 (Inaugural Hit At The Gong 2020.) That way daily hcps and GA and all that stuff would be handled automatically for us?

So Sunday 16/2 or 23/2 around lunchtime, what do you guys think?

What days of the week is it usually? Saturdays are tricky at the Gong, but I’m sure I could block a few tee times on a Sunday arvo for instance.

How about a game in the Illawarra this year? Wollongong is in surprisingly good nick at the moment considering that we have had f*ck all rain for pretty much for ever now.

All of you inland NSW:ers could use a round at the Gong to learn how to play in the wind! 😉

Current bag: Srixon cart bag on MGI Zip X1 buggy
Driver: Callaway XR16 with stock shaft
4W: Ping G25 with stock shaft (I hate this club with a passion at the moment!)
Hybrids: Srixon Z355 4-5 with stock stiff graphite shafts (5 hybrid is longer than 5 iron, hence both in the bag.)
Irons: 5-E Ben Hogan Apex FTX, 1/2″ long and 2* up with Dynamic Gold S300 (eBay find that has for now replaced my Srixon Z355:s.)
Wedges: Ben Hogan 52*, 56* and 60* (Came with the Apex:es. Currently replacing my Wilson Staff wedges.)
Putter: Tour Edge mallet something-or-other. (Very happy with this!)
Ball: Callaway Chrome Soft or Srixon Z-star depending on my mood
