You fellas haven’t let me down in the past, so I can’t imagine anything has changed since. You’ll likely be overdressed compared to some of the riff and the raff.:)

Back in maybe 2001 when I was still a mere child, I won a mid-week pro shop sponsored comp. The prize, a full size Dri-za-bone jacket.
A jacket I had zero interest in keeping so I was able to swap it for a set of Nike pants and rain jacket. The jacket has gone now but the pants still look and feel like new – in saying that I will have to check the elastic waist band to see that it hasn’t disintegrated.
I do also have a Nike vest that I have worn a few times that is still usable, the elastic around the waist on that has gone but it is works. It would have been a mid-2000’s purchase after thinking that the full arm jacket was too annoying to play in that time I used it.I also have short sleeve fair-dinkum lined rain jacket. I think this is a Bonneville GC that I got from Boz maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I have’t worn this in anger yet.
I say all of this mostly to build my post count, because there is a chance that I might need one or more of them this weekend, well maybe just the vest anyway.
I also reckon that if someone took a photo of me in my rain pants because I don’t ever wear them I wouldn’t recognise them and swear that they are not my pants.
I am still going to look good and feel good and play good on the weekend

As for dress, you and Weets both will be better presented than our usually poorly attired visitors. It seems our recent Boards and administrators haven’t the appetite for admonishing transgressors, as they apparently don’t want guests (snowflakes) to feel threatened or intimidated…..really!? Makes me wonder why we went to the expense of printing the four colour Dress Standards brochures.
Like everything nowadays, we are dumbing things down to the lowest common denominator.
Played at Wantima today – first game off the new WHS and I have gone up to 11.3 and was off 12
Wantima was in excellent condition – the greens are really good, a fair speed and rolled beautifully. The rough is brutal as the balls settle down deep and were hard to findIt was the BF Matchplay first round so the competition for those of us who weren’t in MP it was a competition of 12 – but I managed to win it by 4 points so that was good. Had 40 for 19 on the front and 41 for 18 on the back for an 11 over and 37 points.
8 pars 9 bogies 1 double
6/14 fairways – drove ok, especially on the front nine. Had to chip out on 18 but otherwise didn’t drop any shots off the tee. A couple that could have been but managed to save them.
3 GIR + 1 after chip out on 18 – not where I want to be at all – thin SW plugged on 7 and hooked a 7i badly on 8 for 2 dropped shots. Missed quite a few by not much, and plenty rolled off. Not too bad.
7/17 up and down – dropped 8 shots here as some were after the dropped shots on 7 and 8 Made 5/9 PW, 3/4 8i (1 after the hook on 8), 0/2 LW (but both were ok shots) and 0/2 LW bunker shots (1 from the plug on 7)
29 putts – couldn’t drop a birdie putt today but putted really well – no complaints at all
My focus today was on that idea of swinging everything together – clubhead, hands and chest all rotating around and back together – which is obviously a feel not a real, but I was very happy with the results today, especially on the short game and putting.
Royal Queensland next weekend which will be nice

You’re looking at the wrong line.
With a ‘cap of 8 you would have gone out by .5 or .6
Unless something else happened on that line which equated to an equal and opposite reaction which would have reduced your ‘cap.On the 26/01/20 I had 28 points in a flagged round and went from 7.5 to 8.3. On the 27/01/20 I had 33 points in an unflagged round and went from 8.3 to 8.2 which remained unchanged in the swap to WHS. So are you suggesting the adjustment was made on the 27th?

4BBB Stroke and all we could manage was 69 – only 10 strokes off the pace. Got flogged in the bet and this year has not started well in that department.

Final round of the Summer Cup at Southern today. Needing something better than the last game….,,34….unfortunately 32 today gave me a total of 105 and won $150 in my account to spend in the pro shop/ba…… and also…. won a slab of crownies in the raffle. ?

The $50 per round was the money used as prize money so I suppose I got my money back. As for tbe raffle….I don’t think I won the raffle last year so I’m a long way short of even for that.
